Team Bakers joined thousands of other cyclists on Sunday 29th June to take part in the Great Manchester Cycle completing 52 miles around Manchester. Their hard efforts and achievement raised £600 for Bakers Charity of the Year Mummy's Star.
Partner David Parkes was joined by his wife Ginny along with Tony Dales, Licencing Manager and Cathy Ayrton. The four of them crossed the finishing line together after 3 hours of hard work in windy and sometimes wet conditions. David said 'we are delighted to have completed this great fundraising event which has helped us get back in the saddle and get fit whilst raising money for such a great cause. It was also great to team up with the rest of the riders who were also cycling for Mummy's Star.'
