Nicole Successfully Raises Funds for Volunteering Trip to Kenya with Support from Bakers Team: A Year of Handcrafted Decorations, Gala Events, and Baking

Nicole is going to Kenya! 

Nicole (daughter of our very own Jennifer Ryan), with the help of everyone here at Bakers has raised the required amount for her volunteering trip to Kenya. Nicole has spent the last year fundraising, such as handcrafting Christmas and Easter decorations, hosting a gala stall and baking.  

Bakers have provided their support by sponsoring her and meeting the full amount of funds needed. The staff at Bakers have also joined in by donating toys, games and jigsaws for Nicole to sell on car boot and gala stalls. Some members of staff have donated their time by helping out on the stalls.

All their help, donations and sponsorship have assisted with reaching this goal. This amazing opportunity will see Nicole volunteer in some of the most deprived schools in Kenya.

Bakers have also purchased some art supplies for Nicole to give to the children and maybe lead an art class with them.
